1.3: 9,10,60(instead of showing the equation is false, find three examples that the equation is false)

Hi all,

Please correct your tests if you have not done so yet.

I noticed a lot of questions on composition of functions, so here is a video to help you. Know that composition of functions is not a trivial topic, and we can tackle it  as long as we are patient and careful (you can tackle all math problems in the class if you are patient and careful!).

Reading assignment: Section 3.1, 3.3 (please make sure to read them!)

Problems to hand in:

Hi all,

I know completing the squares is always kind of strange, so make sure to read section 2.3 to gain a good understanding of the material. Quiz correction is due Tuesday, before 4.30pm.

Please make sure to hand in any type of extra credit problems to me, *not* with your normal homework.

We will be having a test on Thursday, so look at your quiz, worksheets from class and homework for reviewing. Make appointments to go over things you are not confident about. I should be fairly available after Monday.

Hi all,

This set of homework will focus on both review of algebra and coordinate planes. If these problems are not very hard for you, please do do the extra credit problems; if they seem to be hard for you, make sure to get help from me/academic assistance!

Hi all,

I have set office hours to be 8.50-9.50 and 15.30-16.30 on each Tuesday and Thursday. Of course, you are more than welcome to email me to set up appointments if you can’t make to these.
